Seducing the Heartbreaker
Seducing the Heartbreaker by Christine Glover
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Seducing the Heartbreaker (Hollywood Heartbreakers Book 2) by Christine Glover
This is Fiona Maguire and Jax Hannigan’s story.

Fiona and Jax have known each other for years. She has always had a crush on him. Jax has always been attracted to Fiona but she was dating and then engaged to his best friend who was killed in a wreck. Jax feels that his friend’s death was his fault but Fiona has her own secrets about her fiancee’s death.

Jax’s reputation has him on the outs and without a car to redeem himself in NASCAR. Fiona is a PR expert and volunteers to help Jax. They end up pretending to be dating but is it just pretending? The chemistry is so hot between them and their feelings for each other is much more just physical. But they both have things that they have not revealed to each other. Will they lose their chance at true love?

Jax and Fiona’s story was fun and steamy with some twists along the way. They have a lot of issues and things to work out. I could feel the characters emotions throughout the story. An enjoyable read.

Get Wilde
Get Wilde by Shelly Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Get Wilde by Shelly Alexander is book number three in the Checkmate Inc. series. This is Ethan Wilde (Dick) and Adeline McAllister’s story (Red). Ethan is the trainer that got the Checkmate guys all buff. This can also be read as a standalone but I recommend that you read the other books in this hot series just because they are so good!

Ethan and Adeline have both experienced tragic career changes. One minute they had a promising career in their sport and the next minute that dream was crushed. Also, they both have had relationship troubles.

I loved how Ethan and Adeline met and got to know each other. The banter and chemistry between Ethan and Adeline is off the charts. They end up in a competition against each other. The winner walks away with a large sum of money. Adeline can use this to help with her business troubles. Ethan can use this money to expand his business. How will this effect this attraction between them? Will they discover that taking a chance on love is more important than money?

Oh my goodness despite neither one wanting a relationship they cannot keep their hands off of each other. Fun, hot, and heartwarming romance with some complicated situations. A must read!

The Game Changer by Megan Ryder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Game Changer (Knights of Passion series Book 3) by Megan Ryder

This is Savannah Monroe and all-star catcher Dylan Prosser’s story.

Savannah and Dylan are brought together by a dog that had been abandoned and abused. Dylan doesn’t want a dog or a relationship. He wants to put all his focus on his baseball career. Savannah isn’t ready for another relationship and wants to concentrate on expanding her dog rescue business. Well, things don’t always go according to our plans especially when animals are involved. Savannah and Dylan’s characters were so much fun. I loved how they interacted with each other. We can’t forget Sadie. She is a sweet and cute dog!

The chemistry between Dylan and Savannah is so sweet and intense! Now, Sadie has done her part. Will Dylan and Savannah do their part and realize how perfect they are for each other? This is my favorite book of the Knights of Passion series. I loved it!

Reforming the Heartbreaker
Reforming the Heartbreaker by Christine Glover
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reforming the Heartbreaker: A Hollywood Heartbreaker Novella by Christine Glover is mountain bike champion Ryder Bennett and Addison Carrington’s story.

Ryder runs into some difficulties and needs help restoring his image. Addison works for her family’s public relations agency who has been hired by Ryder. This is Addison’s big chance to show her father that she has what it takes to run the family business. There is one major problem. Addison and Ryder have a history that didn’t end well. The spark between them is still there. Will they give in to this attraction? Or will Addison’s plans to repair Ryder’s image destroy their chance at love?

This is a fast pace, sexy, and entertaining second chance romance. Right away I fell in love with Ryder. The characters and story-line were developed well even though it was a quick read. Enjoyed Ryder and Addison’s story!

Skirting the Ice
Skirting the Ice by Jennie Marts
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“Skirting The Ice” by Jennie Marts is book number three in the “Bannister Brothers” series. This is Jack Bannister and Murphy Ryan’s story.

Jack has Murphy knew each other as kids when she would visit her grandfather. They lost touch after Murphy’s grandfather got sick. Jack always felt that Murphy was the one that got away. Everyone that Murphy dated just never compared to Jack. Murphy’s grandfather left his house to her and some money. The house and money allowed Murphy to move back to Colorado to help build a NHL women’s hockey team.

One day Jack discovers that Murphy is now living next door in her grandfather’s home. He feels like he has been given a second chance. Due to asthma Jack is unable to do physical activity like his star NHL brothers which makes him feel less of a man. Danger has followed Murphy to Colorado and Jack will do anything that he can to protect her. Will Jack be able to protect Murphy? Will Jack allow his insecurities to prevent them from finding true love?

I loved that the author made Murphy an independent woman. This is a fun and steamy romance with a mystery to be solved. Jennie Mart stories are fun, entertaining, and are a great way to escape from everyday routine.

Making an Impact
Making an Impact by Michele Shriver
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a great sports romance. I loved the difference in age. The story hooked me from the start and I couldn’t put it down. It was an entertaining read.

“Making an Impact” by Michele Shriver is book number six in the “Men of the Ice” series. This is Casey Denault and Charlene (Char) Simmons’ story.

Casey is a NHL star for the San Antonio Generals. He has a reputation for being a playboy and doesn’t plan on changing anytime soon. Well, things don’t always going according to our plans.

Will Casey be able to convince Char that he doesn’t want the playboy lifestyle anymore? Another big obstacle for Char is that Casey is only twenty-four years old and she is forty.
