Preserving Family Recipes: How to Save and Celebrate Your Food Traditions
Preserving Family Recipes: How to Save and Celebrate Your Food Traditions by Valerie J. Frey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/University of Georgia Press for an honest review. “Preserving Family Recipes” by Valerie J. Frey is a guide in preserving family recipes.

This a comprehensive guide. I think anyone could use this from simply saving your families favorite recipes to publishing them. Valerie offers ways to organize, protect, and adjust your recipes.

What I liked is that I can take her guidance and fit it to meet what I feel is important to me. Lots of valuable tips.

Get Yourself Organized for Christmas: Simple Steps to Enjoying the Season
Get Yourself Organized for Christmas: Simple Steps to Enjoying the Season by Kathi Lipp
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Harvest House Publishers for an honest review. “Get Yourself Organized for Christmas” by Kathi Lipp is a great guide for anyone to help ease the stress of Christmas.

This book breaks down the different tasks that people do during the Christmas season. You just have to choose which ones are the most important to you and your family.

There are lots of tips in this book to help you organize these tasks. One tip is to make a Christmas binder with all the information for the tasks that you choose. By having everything together, it will definitely save you time by not having to hunt for a recipe or someone’s address. What I liked is that the tips are just suggestions and you can adapt them to fit your needs.

About Me

I love to read! Most of my reading is done on my Kindle Oasis but I do read on my Kindle Fire, iPhone, or iPad. I still read actual books too. On average I read 7 or more books a week. I read for pleasure and relaxation. My favorites are romance novels, cookbooks, fiction, or most anything that has a happy ending. I am not compensated in any way for posting my reviews. My reviews are just my opinions, so please take no offense if we sometimes disagree.
