A Hot Montana Summer by Karen Foley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Hot Montana Summer (Glacier Creek Book 1) by Karen Foley. This is Jamie Colter and Rachel McCafferty’s story.

Jamie was Rachel brother’s best friend. He has always had a crush on Rachel. Their paths cross when Jamie is home recuperating from a combat injury and Rachel has come home after her divorce. Jamie is still extremely attracted to Rachel and wants her to give them a chance at true love. Rachel is definitely drawn to Jamie but struggles with age difference. Will Rachel take a chance on love?

Jamie’s character was great! I love when a May-December story has the woman as the older one. Now, I enjoyed Rachel’s character too but at times Jamie acted older than her. In Rachel’s defense she lost confidence in herself from the way her ex husband had treated her when they were married. I read this story from beginning to end in one sitting.

FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Big Man Blue by Nicole R. Locker. This is Blue Brigham and Harper Haley’s story.

Blue and Haley have a past and their paths cross again. The love and chemistry is still there between them. Will they be able to overcome the heartbreak from their past?

This story pulled me in and I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I loved that this story was an older woman/younger man troupe. Blue and Haley’s characters were relatable and I felt a connection to them.

I throughly enjoyed Blue and Haley’s story. Their emotions felt so real. I look forward to read other books by this author.

Clickbait (Off the Record Book 1)Clickbait by Garett Groves

Clickbait (Off the Record Book 1) by Garett Groves
This is Jeff Taylor and Kile Avery’s story.

Jeff, frustrated cable news journalist, is upset with the way media industry is going. He has a real deep dislike for Kile Avery who has gotten recognized for his outrageous online posts. Kile doesn’t like Jeff either and is on Jeff’s cable show where Jeff has a meltdown. Due to circumstances Jeff and Kile’s paths continue to cross. There is the saying “There is a fine line between hate and love.” Will Jeff and Kile discover that they love each other instead of hate each other?

This is my favorite book that I have read of Garett Groves. The story caught my attention from start to finish. This is a wonderful, entertaining, story with lots of chemistry and a bit of suspense or mystery in who is really trust worthy. I loved the banter between the characters. I hope that Dylan, Joel, and even Liam get their story.

FYI, contains mature content. This is a MM romance. I am a Kindle Unlimited subscriber.

Late Bloomer
Late Bloomer by Barbara Lohr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Late Bloomer (Man from Yesterday Book 4) by Barbara Lohr
This is Brody and Carolyn’s story.

What an amazing May/December story where the women is older. Carolyn taught Brody during his senior year and her first year teaching high school. It’s been ten years and ran into each other when traveling to see her grandmother. Brody is no longer a high school boy. He is all man. I loved his character. There was so much depth to Brody. It was fun and sweet watching their relationship change.

Some seemed concern about the student/teacher relationship. There was nothing inappropriate between them during the time Brody was her student. It’s been ten years since they have seen each other so you are talking about a woman in her early thirties and a man in his late twenties getting together. Ten years changes a lot of things. The story was done very tastefully.

This was a fun and entertaining read. I really enjoyed Brody and Carolyn’s story. A May/December romance with humor, chemistry, and lots of emotion with the woman being the older one. We need more stories like Late Bloomer.
