This was an emotional read. Tara and Hunter were engaged years ago. Tara broke up and left Hunter heartbroken. Tara is back and situations have them spending time together. Will Tara and Hunter get a second chance at love or is there too much heartache?

“Saved by the Montana Hero” by Vella Mann is book number four in the “Montana Lakeside” series. This is Terron Sax and Kolina Childs’ story.

Terron has been responsible for others and now plans to take time for what he wants. Kolina has her plans but due to injury her plans get put aside. Terron enjoys spending with Kolina but he is not ready for responsibility. Kolina is so used to being on her own and has a hard time allowing other people to get close to her. So, will their relationship move beyond friendship or not?

This story was just okay for me. I had a hard time staying interested in the story.

This is a sweet, steamy, and heartwarming story.

“His Montana Rescue” by Vella Munn is book number three in the “Montana Lakeside” series. This is Echo Rose and Rey Bowen’s story.

Echo Rose has recovered from a life threatening injury but still has emotional scars. She feels that she needs to protect her heart. Echo has trouble trusting her heart to another person.

Rey Bowen is a local contractor and he has his own secrets. He is also protecting his heart. Rey and Echo paths cross due to their jobs. At first they butt heads. But, as they spend time together the attraction between them intensifies. Will they give in to this attraction or will they allow their trust issues to prevent them from finding true love?

This was an enjoyable read. If you like small mountain town romances, then this book and series is something you would enjoy.

Alisha doesn’t know what’s she wants to do with her life. Both of her parents have passed. She decides to check out their cabin on Lake Serene where she spent her summers. The cabin is in desperate need of repair. Alisha calls the resort to see if they could recommend someone to come and give her an estimate on all the repairs needed for the cabin. She isn’t sure if she will keep the cabin or sell it.

Nate wanders from job to job. At the present he works for a resort on Lake Serene.
Nate agrees to do the repairs for Alisha. From the start Nate and Alisha are attracted to each other. Will they take a chance on love? Nate has a deep secret so will that secret destroy their chance at love?
