Taken by the CEO by Stefanie London is book number one of The Scandalous Wentworths. This is Emmaline Greene and Parker Wentworth’s story.

Emmaline always does what everyone wants her to do. Not anymore! She meets this guy and ends up having a one night fling and she told him her name was Sarah. Oh well, she won’t ever see him again! Wrong! He is her new boss! Yikes!

Parker has just taken over as CEO of his family’s business. He doesn’t do relationships but will do no strings one night stands. Right now, his focus needs to be on restoring his family business’ reputation. I wonder how that works for him since he slept with one of his employees before his first day as CEO. To be fair to Parker he didn’t know that she was one of his employees. Parker’s first day at work was an interesting day and so was Emmaline’s! Isn’t that how everything works. The one time you do something risky it back fires on you.

This story has humor, passion, chemistry, and a heartwarming story. For Parker to be a no strings one night stand kind of guy he sure was a romantic and loving guy. I fell in love with Parker and Emmaline’s characters. I enjoyed their story.

“Millionaire Under the Mistletoe” by Stefanie London is Stella Jackson and Evan Foss’ story.

Stella is back in London to fulfill a promise to her grandfather before he passed. She hates the cold and wants to be back in Brisbane, Australia where she can surf. Stella promised to stay at her grandfather’s estate through Christmas before making a decision on whether to sell or not sell it.

Evan is a self-made millionaire. He hasn’t had an easy life. The one thing that he wants is to buy Stella’s grandfather’s estate. Evan has been handling the estate business for Stella’s grandfather and is staying at the estate during the holidays.

Stella and Evan have a past and didn’t part on good terms. Evan is the last person that Stella wants to be around or to sell the estate to. Will Stella agree to sell Evan the estate?

Stella and Evan both have things in their past that have influenced the person they are today. Throughout this story you will get a better understanding of their personalities. The reader could feel the character’s emotions.

This was a sweet and heartwarming story with a steamy romance. I especially fell in love with Evan. A great Christmas romance.

“Loving the Odds” by Stefanie London is book fourteen in the “What Happens in Vegas” series but can be read as a standalone. This is Bailey Reuben and Lance Fulton’s story.

This is a great fun and steamy quick read. This is a perfect book to take your mind off your troubles, so kick back and escape for a while. I loved the chemistry and the banter between Bailey and Lance.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley/Entangled Publishing for an honest review. “Pretend It’s Love” by Stefanie London is Paul Chapman and Libby Harris’ story in the second book of the “Behind the Bar” series. Paul has been hurt in his past relationships. His last girlfriend cheated on him with his cousin then ended up marrying his cousin. Paul decided that marriage was not for him so he became a love ’em and leave em guy. After awhile, the causal hook ups are not appealing to him. His brother is getting married and his ex will be there so he needs a girlfriend fast or a pretend girlfriend. Libby is tired of doing what her dad wants so she drops out of med school to start her own business making cocktails. Paul and Libby end up meeting. Libby agrees to be his girlfriend and he is going help her with her business. Libby and Paul are both struggling with trust issues and confidence in themselves. This agreement was to be a strictly pretend relationship or is it? If you like cocktails and steamy scenes, then this book will be for you. FYI, this contains mature content.
