Something Borrowed (Lone Star Match Book 2)Something Borrowed by Megan Ryder
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Something Borrowed (Lone Star Match Book 2) by Megan Ryder
This is lawyer, Brigid Anderson and contractor, Grady Coughlin’s story.

Brigid’s main goal is to do anything in order to make partner. Grady’s father became ill so he took over his father’s contracting business. Grady and Brigid were attracted to each other but neither have time for a relationship. Their friends with benefits agreement has worked for them until now. Grady is tired of this type of relationship and wants more but does Brigid?

This is a sweet and steamy romance but it’s not an easy road getting there. I really liked Grady’s character. Brigid’s character was a little frustrating. In her defense she wants approval from her family at all cost. Will Brigid finally see what will really make her happy and take a chance on true love?

The Game Changer
The Game Changer by Megan Ryder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Game Changer (Knights of Passion series Book 3) by Megan Ryder

This is Savannah Monroe and all-star catcher Dylan Prosser’s story.

Savannah and Dylan are brought together by a dog that had been abandoned and abused. Dylan doesn’t want a dog or a relationship. He wants to put all his focus on his baseball career. Savannah isn’t ready for another relationship and wants to concentrate on expanding her dog rescue business. Well, things don’t always go according to our plans especially when animals are involved. Savannah and Dylan’s characters were so much fun. I loved how they interacted with each other. We can’t forget Sadie. She is a sweet and cute dog!

The chemistry between Dylan and Savannah is so sweet and intense! Now, Sadie has done her part. Will Dylan and Savannah do their part and realize how perfect they are for each other? This is my favorite book of the Knights of Passion series. I loved it!

Love From Left Field
Love From Left Field by Megan Ryder
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“Love from Left Field” by Megan Ryder is book number two in the “Knights of Passion” series. This is Miranda Callahan and Lucas Wainright’s story.

Miranda and Lucas have a history. Growing up Miranda had a secret crush on Lucas. Lucas’ dad used to own the Knights baseball team and Miranda’s dad bought it from him. Lucas has always felt that Miranda’s dad, Seamus Callahan, stole the team from his dad.

Miranda’s dad is a very active owner. Pretty much it’s his way or the highway. The Knights baseball team is in trouble. Lucas has been assigned by the league to supposedly help turn the team around. If the team doesn’t make the loan payment, the team will be sold. Is Lucas out for revenge?

I really enjoyed Miranda and Lucas’ characters. The chemistry between them was incredible. Will they take a chance on love? Will secrets and misunderstandings prevent them from having a chance at love?

FYI, includes mature content. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

All-American Heroes Box Set
All-American Heroes Box Set by Dani Collins
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

All-American Heroes is a box set that includes stories from five great authors.

“Going All the Way” by Megan Ryder is book one in the “Knights of Passion” series. This is Jason Friar and Stacia Kendall’s story.
Stacia is working with a political candidate and secrets get out to the press so she loses her job. Jason’s reputation has just about killed his chances of having a comeback as a major league baseball player.
Stacia and her friend go out for drinks. Stacia has decided that she is tired of doing what is right. So tonight she is going to take risks. This is where Jason comes in. He is in the same bar not happy that there is only one major league baseball team that is interested in him. Stacia doesn’t know who he is. She decides he is the one that she is going to take chances with. Stacia ends up having a one night stand with Jason.
After losing her political campaign job Stacia is told that she has a job helping a baseball team repair a reputation of one of their players. So, this is where things really begin to get really interesting.
Jason and Stacia are opposites and I loved watching their relationship develop. If you love a great story with hot intimate scenes, then you will want to pick this one up.
