Just One More Chance
Just One More Chance by Maryann Jordan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Just One More Chance by Maryann Jordan is book number two in the Baytown Boys series. This is Grant Wilder and Jillian Evans’ story.

Jillian and Grant grew up together. They have loved each for years. After Grant came back from serving his military duty in the war zones he pushed Jillian away.

This is a great second chance romance where two people who love each but have to work through some struggles to find true love. It was great how the author incorporated the importance of our men and women returning from war to find counseling to deal with the ugliness of war. The story also provided a suspense dealing with drugs in their community.

I really enjoyed Grant and Jillian’s story. A steamy, tender, and suspenseful romance.

FYI, contains mature content.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Coming Home: Baytown Boys Series
Coming Home: Baytown Boys Series by Maryann Jordan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Coming Home” by Maryann Jordan is book number one in the “Baytown Boys” series. This is Mitch Evans and Victoria Bradford’s story.

We met Mitch when he was working with the FBI in the Saint series. Mitch agreed to take over for his as the Baytown Police Chief. Mitch’s dad had to retire due to health reasons. He is glad to be back with his family but you sense that he is not completely happy.

Victoria’s grandmother died so she has moved back to Baytown to run her grandmother’s Inn. She had a teenage crush on Mitch but they haven’t spoken in years due to something Victoria was told about Mitch.

Mitch and Victoria’s path eventually cross. Mitch wants a second chance at a relationship. The chemistry and attraction between them is stronger than ever. Will she take a risk and give Mitch a second chance?

One of Victoria’s guest was poisoned. Victoria is spending more time with Mitch as they try to figure out who poisoned her guest and why. This time together is making it harder for Victoria to ignore the attraction between.

This is a really great romantic suspense. The author did a great job of keeping the reader in the dark on who poisoned Victoria’s guest. You get suspense, steamy romance in an entertaining story.

Emma's Home
Emma’s Home by Maryann Jordan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Emma’s Home” by Maryann Jordan is book number one in the “Fairfield” series. This is Emma Dodd and Jake Campbell’s story.

Emma and Jake both have always put their lives on hold to take care of others. Neither one is looking for a relationship.

I loved how Emma and Jake met. Emma and Jake sure were not expecting each other. There was an immediate attraction between them. It was quite a surprise for both of them. You will fall in love with Jake. He is so Hot! Jake and Emma are perfect for each other.

I loved how the author incorporated romance, chemistry, mystery, and family into the story. This is a sweet romance, but is not lacking in attraction and chemistry. Oh, my goodness Emma and Jake can heat up a room! There are also some twist along the way.

FYI, includes mature content. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Remember Love
Remember Love by Maryann Jordan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

From the beginning Maryann Jordan got my attention. I couldn’t put the book down. An excellent read with a steamy and sweet romance, suspense, and heartfelt moments. You will fall in love with Blaise, Grace, and the animals.

“Remember Love” by Maryann Jordan is book number eight in the “Protection & Investigations” series. This is Blaise Hanssen and Grace Kennedy’s story.

Blaise is a member of the Saints private investigation business and he is also a veterinarian. He has a special way with animals.

Grace has amnesia and is homeless with her dog. She doesn’t even know her own name or who she can trust.

Blaise and Grace paths cross. Situations forced Grace to trust Blaise. With the help of Blaise and the Saints, Grace hopes to figure out who she is and what happened to her.

The more time that Blaise and Grace spend together the attraction between them is getting harder for them to ignore. Will Blaise and Grace take a chance on love? Will they discover what happened to Grace?

This was a fun and entertaining book to read. You will love all the animals too. This is a great book to get all wrapped up in and escape into Blaise and Grace’s adventure.

FYI, includes mature content. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
