I have received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing for an honest review. “Once Upon a Power Play” by Jennifer Bonds is book two of the “Risky Business” series. This is hockey player Ryan Douglas and Chloe Jacob’s story.

One night Ryan and Chloe go through a near death experience and wind up spending a night of passion together. This is just suppose to be a one time thing. Ryan has been recovering from a severe hockey injury that could keep him from ever playing again so he needs to spend his energy on getting better. Whereas, Chloe has given up on men so she cannot get involved with Ryan. Well, things do not always go according to plans.

Their story is sweet, humorous, and intense passion with some bumps in the road. This is a great ready! I really enjoyed the characters and couldn’t put the book down.
