Wonderful story! The story pulled me in from the beginning to the end. I love, love this series.

A Sheikh of Her Own by Barbara McMahon is book number three in the Ultimate Billionaires series. This is Bridget Rossi and Sheikh Rashid al Halzid’s story.

Bridget is dealing with the loss of her father and receives an invitation to visit at Rashid’s Mediterranean estate. Rashid had other guest partying at his house. Bridget was a breath of fresh air with the kindness that she showed to Rashid’s family. Rashid is attracted to Bridget but is her kindness for real or is it a way to trick him? Bridget is attracted to Rashid but really what would a Sheikh want with a librarian from San Francisco?

If you are looking for sweet and entertaining stories, you will absolutely love this series! A great story to escape from everyday life.

Wow!! I loved this story! From the beginning to the end I was hooked. This was such a fun and romantic read.

Falling for the Sheikh by Barbara McMahon is book number two in the Ultimate Billionaires series. This is Sheikh Kharun bak Rijad and Sara Kinsale story.

Sara is in a foreign country with her parents. Her dad is there as the chief negotiator from the United States. Sara tries to make her parents proud but her good intentions tend to backfire on her. She winds up arrested for being a spy. How will Sara get out of this mess without hurting her dad’s negotiations and disappointing her parents again?

Sheikh Kharun bak Rijad learns about Sara’s arrest and her identity. He needs the negotiations to go through to offer a better life for his country. Kharun comes up with a plan that involves them convincing everyone that they are in love.

Loved, loved, loved this story. I laughed so much! Kharun and Sara’s characters were so much fun. A great book especially if you need a little laughter in your life.

The Cynical Sheikh by Barbara McMahon is book number one in the Ultimate Billionaires series. This is Laura Toliver and Sheikh (Tal) Taliq’s story.

Tal thinks that Laura is after his cousin just for his money. So, Tal misrepresents who he is so he can convince Laura to choose him over his cousin then he will drop her. Tal is doing this to protect his cousin. What if they really like one another? Has Tal made a mistake in his assumptions of Laura?

I loved this book! Laura and Tal’s characters were so much fun. I felt like they were my friends. This is a great start to a new series. A refreshing, fun, and entertaining romance!

“A Soldier’s Christmas” by Barbara McMahon is a sweet, clean, and heartfelt romance. This is soldier Josh Marquette and Cassie Smith’s story.

Josh was being deployed and would not be able to take his dog. If he doesn’t find someone to care for his dog while he is deployed, then he will have to find another home for his dog.

Through friends Cassie found out about Josh needing someone to care for his dog. Cassie and Josh met and she agreed to care for his dog while he was deployed for a year.

During the time Josh was deployed they used Skype so that Josh could check on Maggie, his dog. The Skype sessions also became times where they could just talk and keep up with what was going on in each other’s life. The year is up and now it is time for Josh to pick up his dog. Cassie is going to miss the dog and the Skype sessions with Josh. Or will she have to say goodbye to them?

A quick read that is clean and sweet. I enjoy Barbara McMahon’s stories.

The Christmas Locket by Barbara McMahon

“The Christmas Locket” by Barbara McMahon is Caitlin and Zach’s heartwarming story.  The couple is on the verge of a divorce.  


Zach is an international reporter who is gone more than he is at home.  His job is very important to him.  Caitlin is a school teacher and tired of living months at a time without her husband.

 I could feel the pain, frustrations, and joy that Caitlin and Zach experienced throughout the story.  At times they would stop and reflect on how the other one feels instead of how they felt.  But, is it too late for them to save their marriage?


This story really stuck with me and reminded me of what is really important in my life.  Life may not always line up the way we planned but sometimes it’s better.  I also enjoyed the family history Caitlin discovered going through her aunts home. 


Zach and Caitlin’s story is a touching romance and I am glad I went along for the ride.

I loved all the stories in this series so far but this one is my favorite. Josh is a handsome, bossy, and stubborn Texas cowboy. But, there is something about him that draws you in.

“Reckless Heart” by Barbara McMahon is book number three in the “Harts of Texas” series. This is Molly Forrester and Josh Hart’s story.

Molly has taken a job at Josh’s ranch as housekeeper and cook. Well, she hopes to convince him to give her the job. Molly is running from a controlling father and her ex-fiancé. She has to get this job and make it work until she can get her book published.

Josh has gone through six housekeepers in the last six months. But, Molly isn’t right for the job. She doesn’t look like she has worked a day in her life. He doesn’t have much choice so he makes sure Molly knows this is just temporary. Once the agency finds someone more suitable then she is gone or maybe not.

I really loved this story. I fell in love with Josh and Molly’s characters. The chemistry between Josh and Molly was really intense. Will they take a chance on love? Or will they allow emotional issues from their past to keep them from finding true happiness and love?

I loved this series! Texas, cowboys, and ranches what’s not to love. I loved the cowboys working at the ranch. Maybe Lance could get his own story or the start of a new series.

A great addition to the “Harts of Texas” series. This is a great second chance romance.

“Tangled Hearts” by Barbara McMahon is book number two in the “Harts of Texas” series. This is Brianna Hart and Detective Jake Morgan’s story.

Brianna and Jake dated two years ago. Without any warning or explanation Jake quit calling and wouldn’t answer her calls. Brianna was very hurt and has thrown herself into her college teaching job.

Jake and Brianna’s paths cross again due to a break in at her house. Their paths keep crossing due to the mystery of her break in. The chemistry and attraction between them has seemed to intensify instead lessening. Will they take a chance on love? Will their past prevent them from finding true love and happiness?

This story was great! The story included romance, mystery, suspense, and a lot of sexual tension. You could feel the hurt and pain that both Jake and Brianna had encountered in their life. Jake and Brianna were perfect for each other. At times I felt sorry for them and other times I wanted to smack some sense into Jake.

The books in this series can be read as a standalone but you will want to go back and read “Rebel Heart” book number one. I look forward to the next book in this series.

This is a winner! Cowboys, ranches, and Texas what’s not to love! Barbara McMahon got my attention right from the start to the finish!

“Rebel Heart” by Barbara McMahon is book number one in the “Harts of Texas” series. This is Shannon Blackstone and Jase Hart’s story.

Shannon is trying to make a go of her ranch but has been burned by her last ranch manager. She seeks out Jase to help her since he is sidelined from the rodeo for awhile to heal. This story involves the characters learning to trust again and a lot of hard work to accomplish their dreams and ambitions.

I loved Shannon and Jase’s characters! It was great how they worked through all the struggles and obstacles they encountered to find true love.
