Sweet Romance

Valentine CharmsValentine Charms by Anne McAllister
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Valentine Charms: A Holiday Romance Novel by Anne McAllister. This is Jane “Janey” Kitto and Zack Stoner’s story.

This was a cute and sweet romance. Jane and Zach are so different from one another. Jane has just broken off her engagement and her students are trying to find her a man. The students were so funny. I loved the story of the charm bracelet.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The Cowboy And The Kid by Anne McAllister
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Cowboy and the Kid by Anne McAllister is book number four in the Tanner Brothers series. This is ex-rodeo cowboy Taggart Jones and school teacher Felicity Albright’s story.

Taggart’s wife left him to raise their daughter alone. He has sworn off of marriage. But, his daughter Becky has other ideas. This is where Felicity, Becky’s teacher, comes in. Felicity’s husband was killed in an accident. When Felicity’s Uncle Fred died he left her his house in Elmer, Montana. Felicity thought this was the perfect place for her to start living life again but not sure if she can love again.

I love cowboy romances and Taggart and Felicity’s story was wonderful! This was an enjoyable, sensuous, and fun romance. Taggart is a stubborn cowboy that you can’t help but love. Will he allow his stubbornness to lose a chance at love? Felicity is a strong woman and I loved her character. The supporting characters were great too.

This can be read as a standalone but you will want to go back and read the other books in the series. This is one of my favorites. A great book when you need an escape!

FYI, includes mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Cowboys Don't Stay
Cowboys Don’t Stay by Anne McAllister
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Cowboys Don’t Stay” by Anne McAllister is book three in the “Tanner Brothers” series. This is rodeo cowboy Noah Tanner and Tess Montgomery’s story.

Noah never stays anywhere for long. He is always on the move for that next rodeo. Then right before Christmas holidays he is in a bad wreck. When Noah awakes is in the hospital. He couldn’t believe that Tess was his nurse. Noah and Tess haven’t seen each other in over eight years. Their parting was not on good terms.

Noah and Tess still feel the attraction and chemistry between themselves. Will Noah and Tess be able to overcome the hurts and secrets from their past?

“Cowboys Don’t Stay” is my favorite of the “Tanner Brothers” series. This was a second chance romance where Noah and Tess had to work through dealing with past mistakes and give forgiveness. I enjoyed the supporting characters too. It was good to catch up with characters from the first two books in this series too.

I received a copy of this book from Tule publishing for an honest review.

This is a story of two people who suffered a terrible loss and found something that they never thought they would ever find. Another great story by Anne McAllister.

Forever Yours: A Wedding Collection
Forever Yours: A Wedding Collection by Jane Porter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Forever Yours: A Wedding Collection” is a collection of seven romances. I have read all seven stories. An excellent selection of romances.

Take Me, Cowboy by Jane Porter – Purchased through Amazon – 5 Stars – This is an excellent read. I love Jane’s style of writing. The reader could feel the characters’ emotions and visualize the surroundings. This is a flirty, passionate, and heartwarming romance with some steamy scenes!

Last Year’s Bride by Anne McAllister – Purchased through Amazon – 4 Stars – This is a sweet, romantic, and heartwarming story. You will also fall in love with the supporting characters, especially Cole’s grandmother.

His Blushing Bride by Dani Collins
4 Stars – This was a sweet and steamy romance between Piper and Sebastian. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Tule Publishing for an honest review.

Kiss the Bride by Rachael Johns
5 Stars – I really enjoyed this story. This story includes a sweet romance, dealing with family dynamics, forgiveness, and undeniable chemistry. The storyline flowed really well and I didn’t want to put it down. I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review. FYI, contains mature content.

The Fairy Tale Bride by Scarlet Wilson
5 Stars – This is a story of two people who have issues with trust. Adam and Lisa have different reasons from their past that causes them to have trouble with trust. Their love story was a sweet romance. This story had a variety of characters which were a really nice addition to the story. The way the author describes the little town of Marietta makes you want to live there or go visit the town. At times in the book you will laugh and other cry. A perfect book to escape reality and enjoy a fairy tale. This was an excellent quick read. Loved the book! I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Tule Publishing for an honest review.

Two Nights with his Bride by Kat Latham
5 Stars – This story was very entertaining from beginning to end. At times I laughed, cried, or wanted to smack Jared, but loved How Wyatt was so caring and thoughtful. Wyatt was great! I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review. FYI, contains mature content.

Bride by Mistake by Nicole Helm
3 Stars – Kaitlin is the “good girl” and Beckett is known as the “bad boy”. Their romance has its ups and downs. All in all it was a quick read and an okay story. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Tule Publishing for an honest review.

Last Year's Bride
Last Year’s Bride by Anne McAllister
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“Last Year’s Bride” by Anne McAllister is book eight in the “Montana Born Brides” series. This is Cole McCullogh and Nell Corbett’s story.

Nell and Cole hadn’t known each long, but wind up getting married on the spur-of-the-moment. They decide not to tell anyone at first. Then life happens and time goes on and still nobody knows that they are married.

Nell is working as a TV director. Cole believes that his duty is to the ranch. So, Cole decides that they need to divorce so Nell can further her career. He doesn’t want Nell to regret leaving her career for him.

I loved Cole and Nell’s characters. Nell knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to go after it. Cole is a sweet and caring guy, but he can be so thick headed. There were times that I wanted to smack some sense into him. Will Cole allow his stubbornness to lose the love of his life?

This is a sweet, romantic, and heartwarming story. You will also fall in love with the supporting characters, especially Cole’s grandmother.

Cowboys Don't Cry
Cowboys Don’t Cry by Anne McAllister
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“Cowboys Don’t Cry” by Anne McAllister is book one in the “Tanner Brothers” series. This is cowboy Robert Tanner and school teacher Maggie MacLeod’s story.

Robert doesn’t do relationships or anything permanent. He is the foreman at the Three Bar C ranch. He promised the previous owner before she died that he would stay to help the new owner get acquainted with the ranch. Boy is Robert aka “Tanner” is surprised when he learns that city girl Maggie MacLeod had inherited the ranch and that she plans to run the ranch.

It was great watching Robert and Maggie’s relationship grow. The chemistry was great between them. I loved the characters, but at times I wanted to smack some sense into Robert.

I really enjoyed this book and love Anne’s style of writing. So kick back and escape into Robert and Maggie’s life at Three Bar C ranch.

I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review.
