Oh, Christmas NightOh, Christmas Night by Jane Porter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh Christmas Night by Jane Porter. This is Rachel Mills and Atticus Bowen’s story.

Things are not going the way Rachel planned for her life. At a turning point in Rachel’s life she inherits a book store that hasn’t been opened in years. Atticus wants to buy the building for a restaurant that he wants to open. But as time goes on Atticus begins to change and he is there to support Rachel with whatever she wants to do with the bookstore. Rachel has a hard time letting her guard down. Will she continue her life not letting people in or will she take chances?

I enjoyed this sweet Christmas story. I could picture the book store and wanted to go help Rachel sort through the books I love this little town of Marietta and the people.

Tangled Up In Christmas (Texas Heat #2)Tangled Up In Christmas by Lisa Renee Jones
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tangled Up in Christmas by Lisa Renee Jones is book number two in the Texas Heat series. This is Roarke and Hannah’s story. This can be read as a stand-alone.

Roarke and Hannah were engaged to be married but things happened and Hannah left. Years later their paths cross again.

It took me a little bit to get into this read. I’m glad I didn’t give up since I did enjoy the story. At times I got so frustrated with Roarke and Hannah’s lack of communication. Is Roarke going to finally tell Hannah the truth? How will Hannah handle the truth?

I enjoyed the story being set in Sweetwater, Texas and how the author incorporated rescue horses. I love that part of Texas.

Jingle Bells and Wedding VowsJingle Bells and Wedding Vows by Barbara Dunlop
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jingle Bells and Wedding Vows by Barbara Dunlop.  This is Kate and Brock Andrews story.  But lets not forget their twins Scarlett and Sam who play an important role in this story.

Kate and Brock are divorced and Brock is getting remarried at Christmas time so he needs to the kids to be at the wedding.  Sam and Scarlett are not happy about the wedding and do not like Jacinda, their dad’s fiancée so don’t underestimate their power in changing these plans.  This is hard on Kate because she thought she had moved on but realizes that she still has feelings for Brock.

A cut, funny, and sweet Christmas read that is a perfect way to get in the Christmas spirit or just escape for a little while.  This reminds me of the fun family Christmas movies that I love to watch. I laughed so much while reading the Andrews’ family’s story which is great for relieving stress.

Christmas Angels by Nancy Naigle. This is Liz Westmoreland and Matt Hardy’s story.

I loved this sweet holiday read. Liz and Matt’s characters are so likable and you want to get to know them. The author did a great job with descriptions in the story. I could visualize the little mountain town of Antler Creek. A great read to put you in the holiday and Christmas spirit.

There’s more to me than just being awk-weird. I own my own flower shop, have some great friends, and I have my eye on adopting the most adorable kitten. But sadly, hot guys don’t tend to be blown away by my trivia-spouting, dorky self.

So, when a Thor-lookalike who happens to be a professional hockey player hits on me at my bestie’s wedding rehearsal party … You better believe I climbed that tree like a cat. And the face that it happened not once, not twice, but three times? Yeah, that’s pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime experience for a woman like me.

There’s zero chance I’ll end up ever seeing him again…right?

Until the pregnancy test comes up positive. What happens next?

Oh my God, I wish I knew…

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Awk-weird by Avery Flynn is book number two in the Ice Knights series. This is Ice Knights hockey player Cole Phillips and florist Tess Gardner’s story.

This was a hilarious read! Cole and Tess’ relationship starts off in an awk-weird way. The interactions between these two were so much fun and the chemistry was intense. This was one read that I couldn’t put down until I finished.
