Cold Spell (Sweet Escape Book 3) by Mia London and Susan Sheehey. This is
Liddy “Lydia Michelle” Drake and Luke Sawyer Rothchild’s story.

Liddy may not have liked Luke at first and in fact hated him but there was definitely intense chemistry between them. I guess there is a fine line between hate and love or is it hate and lust in their case. Luke and Liddy’s relationship seemed more like a fling at the beginning but as the story progresses you see that it could be more. How will their relationship ever be more with Luke hiding who he really is, Liddy struggling with believing everyone will leave her, and the fact that long distance relationships don’t have a good record of working out?

I loved how as the story progressed I got to see the real Luke and Liddy. These two are really sweet and both have a passion for helping others. We may not have a lot of money to donate to charities but there are so many ways that we can give to others in need as the characters have in the Sweet Escape series.
