This is Tyler Ellis and Kit Hayes’ story.

Tyler and Kit were good friends growing up but have gone their separate ways. Kit has stayed in Benson, CA whereas Tyler joined the military then traveled around becoming a champion rodeo star. He has retired from the rodeo and is coming back home to Benson. Kit felt like she missed out on life by staying in Benson.

Tyler and Kit get reacquainted and there is chemistry and attraction between them but they both hang back. Tyler is back in Benson to stay and Kit isn’t sure that she wants to stay.

I enjoyed Tyler and Kit’s story but I did get frustrated with them. Kit especially frustrated me. I felt like they took too long to face what they wanted. If you like more of a sweet and closed door romance, then this story might be for you.

I am giving this book four stars but I felt that the book drug out too much for me. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
