The Trouble with Bachelors by Caitlyn Blue is book number one in the Windy City Bachelors series. This is Zach Thorne and Emma Callahan’s story.

Zach is a few years older than Emma but were assigned to work together in a class group project. Emma developed a crush on him but he ended up dating her sister who was closer to his age.

Time has moved on and now her sister is marrying Zach’s best friend. Zach and Emma are thrown together to do maid of honor and best man duties. The chemistry between the two is hot and steamy. Zach has a reputation for just having flings. As Emma and Zach spend time together he realizes that Emma is different but what exactly does that mean since he isn’t a relationship type guy. Emma tries to keep her heart out of this relationship. Will the two let their guards down and take a chance on love?

I liked Zach and Emma’s characters. I connected with Zach’s character better. I did not like Emma’s sister. She came off very selfish and very spoiled. I felt sorry for the guy she was marrying.

This is a sexy romance with a lot of ups and downs due to miscommunications.
