Shielded by the Cowboy SEAL by Bonnie Vanak is book number two in the SOS Agency series. This is Navy SEAL Cooper Johnson and Meg Taylor’s story.

Cooper is on leave to help his mother with the family farm. Also, it has only been six months since his sister was killed in the line of duty as a cop due to a defective bulletproof vest. He is determined to find who is responsible for the defective vest. Family comes before anyone or anything else.

Meg needs a safe place to get away from her abusive husband. Cooper agrees to keep Meg safe at his family farm. There is definitely chemistry between them but neither or in a positon for a relationship. There are things from Meg’s past that she hasn’t shared with Cooper because she doesn’t know who she can trust. How will Cooper react when he learns what Meg has been keeping from him?

This story has it all! A Navy Seal and he is also a cowboy plus you get suspense, passion, danger, and dealing with emotional issues. I loved Cooper and Meg’s story.
