Wow, this story was powerful! Once I started this book I had no clue what was going on around me I was so drawn into this story. The author incorporated a heated romance, heartwarming story, with suspense that kept you on the edge of your seat.

“Nic” by J.M. Stewart is book number two in the “Rossi Brothers” series. This is Anna Thompson and Nic Rossi’s story.

Anna divorced her husband several years ago. Anna is hoping that Angel Bay will be a good place for her to raise her daughter and to hide out from her abusive ex. She is desperate to find a job to stay in Angel Bay.

Nic is a quiet and kind man raising his daughter with the kind of love that he was raised with. He meets Anna when she comes into his restaurant to find a job. Anna has a hard time trusting people but accepts Nic’s offer of a job and help.

Due to their bad past relationships neither Nic nor Anna are looking for a relationship. They both feel the attraction between them. Will they be able to ignore these feelings? Will Anna’s ex catch up with her?

Nic and Anna’s characters were great. But, I fell in love with Nic. He was just wonderful! This is a must read! This can be read as a standalone but I intend to go back and read Luc’s story. J.M. Stewart stories just keep getting better and better.
