Wow!  This is the first book that I have read by Shelly Alexander.  At first I thought that it was going to be a story where it focuses on sex and some story to go with it.  Boy, was I wrong.  The author did a great job of incorporating a sexy romance with an in-depth story with lots of twists.

“ForePlay” by Shelly Alexander is book number one in the  “Checkmate Inc.” series.  This is Leo Foxx and Chloe Evers’ story.

Leo and his friends started the Checkmate Inc. business.  They were the chess playing geeks in high school. Boy, have they changed!

Chloe is a friend of Leo’s sister.  She ends up working for Leo as a PR representative.  From Leo and Chloe’s first meeting the sexual tension between could start a fire.  There are so many reasons why they should not act on this attraction.  Will they be able to ignore this attraction?  What are the consequences if they give in to this attraction?

Get comfortable because you won’t be able to put this book down.  Enjoy this hot and heartwarming ride with lots of twists and surprises along the way.  I look forward to the next books in this series.
