“Seducing the Boss” by Mari Carr is book number two in the “Pulse” series. This is Kellan James and Sara Connelly’s story.
Kellan and Sara have been friends for most of their life and her boss at the hospital where they work. Their friendship has never crossed the line until one night things change. It is meant to be just a hookup and to allow Sara to let loose and enjoy herself. The more time they spend with each it gets harder and harder for the both of them to see this as just a hookup. Will they risk their friendship and work relationship to take a chance on love?
There is a lot of graphic hot intimate scenes. In the second half of the book you get a story to go with why they never hooked up before and why they could be perfect for each other. This was an okay read for me.
