Patrice Wilton does it again! This book is great! You get humor, steamy romance, and a little suspense. She has a way of grabbing your attention and the rest of the world just fades away.

“Someone to Love” by Patrice Wilton is book number two in the ” Heavenly Christmas” series. The book can be read as a standalone. This is Allison Cornwall (Ally) and Ian Brown’s story.

Ally has been on the run, hiding from an ex-boyfriend. She has changed her name and has hidden out in Heaven, PA. Ally really likes living in Heaven and hopes that she doesn’t have to pick up and run again. But, she might since her ex-boyfriend has found her again. Ian is the police chief in Heaven, PA. His goal is to keep crime out of Heaven so maybe he can help protect Ally. Will Ally’s ex-boyfriend finally get her?

Since Ian is protecting Ally they end up spending lots of time together. Will Ally tell Ian her secrets? Ian and Ally are extremely attracted to each other, but neither one is looking for a relationship. Will they take a chance on love or will the chance be taken from them?

I love how the author incorporated suspense, a steamy romance with humor. There were moments that I laughed so hard that my husband wondered about me. You will have to read it. Enjoyed!
