“Love, Alabama” by Susan Sands is book two in the “Laroux Family” series. This is Emma Laroux and Matthew Pope’s story.

Emma is a former beauty queen teaching classes to beauty contestants. Matthew has just moved to Ministry to produce Emma’s sister’s cooking show.

At first Emma and Matthew do not get along. This changes and chemistry between them was undeniable. As the story progresses, you realize there is more to this story than just a fun and flirty romance. There are secrets, people manipulating people, and lies. Will Emma and Matthew get a chance at true love despite all the secrets and lies?

This is a sweet small town love story with southern charm, lots of twists, and surprises. The supporting characters were great too. I’m looking forward to the next book in the “Laroux Family” series. I hope it’s Ben’s story! I really enjoyed this book. The cover is amazing too.
