Hayley is a Hollywood starlet and is back in Marietta. She has been receiving threats. Hayley decides that her old crush Cody Matthews is the perfect person to keep her safe.
Cody refuses to be her bodyguard, but Hayley has other ideas. He is too attracted to Hayley and hurt from the way they left things off when she left Marietta to spend time with her. Hayley isn’t one to give up. She ends up with the winning bid in the Marietta Bachelor Auction for Cody. Now, Cody is obligated to spend one weekend with her. Due to the threats that Hayley is receiving they end up alone in a remote cabin for their weekend date. Will Cody be able to resist Hayley?
The is a cute and sexy second chance romance. I enjoyed the story.
