“Marry Me” by Karen Stivali is the story of British drummer Ben Davis and clothes designer Julia Jones.
Ben and Julia both have experienced different types of lose or hurts in their lifetimes. They both are afraid of getting hurt again. Julia is a seamstress for Ben’s band. She is the first woman that he is really interested in since losing his childhood sweetheart. Can Ben convenience Julia to give them a chance at a relationship?
I really liked Ben and Julia’s characters. But I felt that some of the scenes didn’t flow as well as they could have. For me, at times the intimate scenes took away from the romance. Overall, I enjoyed the book.
