“You’re Still the One” by Rachel Harris is book one in the “Country Blues” series. This is Arabella “Bella” Stone and Blue bassist Charlie Tucker’s story,
Arabella wants to accomplish things without her father’s help. She has a bucket list of things that she wants to accomplish. Arabella has always had a crush on Charlie. The first thing she wants to check off her bucket list is to kiss Charlie.
Charlie is used to women flirting with him. But he has never had one kiss him and then run off. Wait until Charlie finds out who she really is. Arabella’s father is the CEO of Charlie’s label so she is off limits to him.
Charlie and Arabella end up working together on a project for the summer. Wait until you find out how they end up working together for the summer. The chemistry between them was intense. They tried really hard to ignore it, but plans don’t always work out. I loved how they became friends first and their relationship developed over time. The intimate scenes were sensual, even though the scenes faded to black.
This is a really sweet story. Both Charlie and Arabella had things that they needed to work out in their life so they could truly be themselves. I look forward to reading other books by Rachel Harris.
