Wrong Number, Right Guy by Elle Casey
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
“Wrong Number, Right Guy” by Elle Casey is book 1 of the “Bourbon Street Boys” series. This is May and Ozzie’s story.
May receives a text message and she thinks it’s from her sister who was getting a new phone that day. May’s sister has gone through a divorce and gets no help with her three kids from her ex. She is always asking May to rescue her when she needs to get a break from her kids. May goes to rescue her sister and ends up in a shoot out. Ozzie is working uncover and ends up rescuing May.
This romantic suspense was hilarious. May and Ozzie have an immediate attraction to each other. I really enjoyed May’s dog, Felix, and Ozzie’s dog, Sahara. They were so cute together. I enjoyed the story but there was not enough character development and not enough romance. FYI, contains mature content. The potential is there. I will probably read book two in this series.
I have received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Amazon Publishing, for an honest review.
