“Protecting His Assets” by J.K. Coi is the story of CEO Steve Nolan and April Porter. Steve has been receiving threats and wasn’t really worried about it. His business partner hires him a bodyguard, which turns out to be April. I loved how the author used a woman as the bodyguard.
From the beginning there is amazing chemistry between Steve and April. It was great watching Steve and April’s relationship develop into more than April just being his bodyguard. There are twists and turns, especially with the mystery of who is threatening Steve.
I really enjoyed this story. The author kept the reader engaged. You get a hot and steamy romance, a mystery to solve, and family issues. FYI, contains mature content.
