Chance of a Lifetime
Chance of a Lifetime by Marissa Clarke
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I have received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing/Lovestruck for an honest review. “Chance of a Lifetime” by Marissa Clarke is book number three of the “Anderson Brothers” series. This book can also be read as a standalone. This is Gen Richards and Chance Anderson’s story.

Gen Richards is blind, but her family treats her as if she is fragile and it is driving her crazy. Gen is ready to start making her own decisions. She made a bucket list years ago and has decided she is going to complete this list somehow. Chance and Gen go way back. He is her brother’s best friend and broke her heart years ago. Chance and Gen meet up again and maybe she can get him to help her with her bucket list. Chance has never treated her as if she is fragile like her family.

I really liked the idea of this story. The author did a great job of describing how it may be for a blind person in doing everyday tasks and what they have to deal with from family members. The part that I did not like was that a lot of the intimate scenes (that got pretty involved) and the fact that they were out in public locations. The story just did not flow for me. It was an okay read. FYI, contains mature content.
