I have received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing for an honest review. “Blurring the Lines” by Marisa Cleveland is book 11 in the “Men of the Zodiac” series. They each can be read as a standalone. This is CEO Blake Whitman and Kira Layton’s story.
Blake is all about business and has all these rules that he follows. Kira is all about community service and preserving community history. Blake and Kira end up on opposite sides of an issue. Blake decides that he wants Kira to work with him so he can keep a better eye on her. Blake has a rule that there will be no dating among anyone working at his firm. The attraction and chemistry is extreme between them so are rules made to be broken?
The book got my attention right from the start and I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I really enjoyed the characters in this book. You get romance, humor, conflict, misunderstandings, and hot scenes.
It’s holiday time so grab this book and escape for a little while from all the stress from this time of year.
