I have received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing for an honest review. “The Billionaire’s Christmas Proposal” by Victoria James is book two in the “Billionaires for Christmas” series. This can also be read as a standalone.
This is Allison Barrington and Ethan Dane’s story.
Allison is a social worker and is the guardian for her sister. Due to a fire at their apartment they end up staying with Ethan. Ethan has been trying to get Allison to go out with him since he met her at his friend’s wedding. There is definitely chemistry between them, but Allison still won’t go out with him. She thinks because it appears that everything has been easy for him and doesn’t think he understands the important things in life she keeps turning him down.
Now, that Allison and Ethan are staying in the same house will they be able to ignore the intense chemistry between them?
This book was great! I couldn’t put it down. I loved the way the author surprises the reader and takes you in a different direction than you thought you were going. There were lots of unexpected twists and turns. This is a really sweet romance with great chemistry between Ethan and Allison.
I love the way Victoria James writes. She gets the readers attention and keeps it throughout the book. She includes some serious topics, injects humor, and most importantly keeps romance and passion center stage. I look forward to reading other books by Victoria James. She is definitely on my list of favorite authors.
