I have received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing for an honest review. “How to Lose A Bachelor” by Anna Banks is about a dating show and second chances. This is Rochelle Ransom and Grant Drake’s story.
Rochelle is going to be on a dating show. She plans on winning the bachelor’s heart so she can give the money to her favorite charity. Things don’t always go as planned. Rochelle finds out that the bachelor is her ex-boyfriend, Grant. He is out for revenge since Rochelle broke his heart, but Rochelle sees things differently.
Since Grant is the bachelor Rochelle is going to do her best to get voted off the show. This story is so funny with all the things that Rochelle pulls trying to get Grant to vote her off the show. Grant is now determined that keeping her on the show is a better revenge than voting her off. As things progress the chemistry between them is still stronger than ever. Will they be able to overcome all the hurt and pain from the past and give themselves a second chance at love.
You get to see behind the scenes of how reality shows are manipulated to get their ratings up. This book is great, especially when you need a laugh and you will be entertained with humor, passion, and romance.
This is a sweet romance and a fun read. I really enjoyed the book. I loved how the author intertwined the difficult topic of domestic violence, but kept the story filled with humor and romance.
