I have received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Tule Publishing for an honest review. “Her Secret Christmas Hero” by Mallory Kane is part of the “Cherry Lake Christmas” series. This is Allie McHale and Jacob Reeves’ story.
Allie has just lost her father and is struggling with the loss. Jacob is set to testify against his family who are members of organized crime. They end up spending Christmas Eve night together during a winter snow storm. They are attracted to each other, but there are so many issues so will they act on this attraction?
The characters were likable. Their romance was rushed, but some scenes just didn’t flow for me. It’s an okay quick read. Contains mature content.
