I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Kensington Books Publishing for an honest review. “The Name of the Game” by Jennifer Dawson is book three in the “A Something New” series. This is James Donovan and Gracie Roberts’ story.
James is a college professor and seems very reserved and quiet. He is a health nut. Gracie is a baker and is very adventuresome and lives on the wild side. They are often thrown together since James is her best friend’s brother. James and Gracie just cannot stand each other. They argue and bicker every time they are around each other.
James and Gracie, don’t understand why they seem to set each other off. Finally, they admit the attraction between them, but what are they going to do about it? They go from bickering to where they can’t keep their hands off of each other. Their relationship continues to develop and they don’t know what to do about it. They both are afraid that it won’t last. You will enjoy watching James and Gracie work everything out. They definitely had chemistry between them. Their relationship was explosive.
The author does a great job of getting and keeping your attention. You will not only love James and Gracie’s characters you will fall in love with the whole crew. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series. FYI, contains mature content. If you love an explosive hot, steamy romance, then this is for you.
