I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review. “Wedding Switch” by Sharon Kleve is a contemporary romance novella. Abby is a successful wedding planner and is engaged to Derrick. Derrick is pressuring her move up the wedding date. Abby is having second thoughts. Derrick hires an old classmate Hunter to pretend he is getting married. Hunter is supposed to pretend he is engaged and hire Abby as his wedding planner. What Abby doesn’t know is that Derrick wants to get married just so he can close an important business deal. Hunter and Abby are both attracted to each other from their first meeting. Hunter knows he has made a mistake in taking this job. Who will walk down the aisle?
The theme of this story was a great idea. It was just too short to get to know and have a connection with the characters. There was potential there, but it’s like half the story is missing.
