I received a copy of this book from Netgalley/Entangled Publishing for an honest review. “To Love A Texas Cowboy” by Julie Benson is book one in the “Wishing, Texas” series. This book is a great start to this series, but is also a great standalone book. This is the story of Cassie Reynolds and Ty Barnett. Cassie’s sister and husband were killed in a plane crash leaving behind their daughter Ella. Cassie’s life has been turned upside down going from living in the city to moving to a country town and raising her niece. Ty Barnett was asked by Cassie’s sister and brother in-law that if anything happened to them that he would be over the financial welfare of their daughter. Ty and Cassie butt heads from the beginning. Ty is a planner and organizer whereas Cassie is an artist and is used to going with the flow not so much planning. Even though they butt heads there is an attraction between them. Will Ty and Cassie let all the obstacles in their life prevent them from finding true love? Watching Ty and Cassie’s relationship change as they work together to provide what’s best for Ella was sweet, funny, and there was lots of chemistry. I loved Cassie and Ty. FYI, contains mature content. I look forward to reading the next books in this series.
