I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing for an honest review. “The Engagement Game” by Jenny Holiday is the third book in the “49th Floor” series. This can be read as a standalone book. This is Rose Verma and Marcus Rosemann’s story. The book got my attention right away and I couldn’t put it down until I finished. It was great watching Marcus and Rose’s relationship change as they pretend to be engaged. Are they fooling their family and friends or themselves? There is great chemistry and passion between Marcus and Rose. You also get humor and of course family drama. The author did a great job of where the reader could feel the emotions of the characters. Marcus and Rose characters were so much fun. I’m looking forward to reading other books by Jenny Holiday. I really enjoyed this book. FYI, contains mature content.
