I received a copy of this book from Netgalley/Intrepid Reads for an honest review. “The Brigadier’s Runaway Bride” by Erica Ridley is the fifth story in the “Dukes of War” historical romance series. This is the first book of the series that I have read. Edmund and Sarah were to be married after the war. Sarah met up with Edmund before he went to battle so they had one wonderful night together. Sarah has a problem now she pregnant and Edmund did not come back from the war. What is a pregnant girl to do when her intended is dead or is he? This a sweet quick read.
